NEW SIGNS WITH DIGITAL COUNTERS DISPLAYING THE NUMBER OF MURDERS WILL BE GOING UP SOON |
Leaked documents from the Arkansas Department of Transportation show that they are planning to install new signage around Little Rock that contains information about the number of murders and warnings about entering the city.
One sign will have a digital display that can be updated as the number of homicides in the capital city increases.
Another version has the wording "ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK"
ARDOT spokesman Danny Straessle confirmed that the leaked documents were real and that the new signs will be going up soon.
STRAESSLE POINTS OUT THE DIGITAL FEATURE OF THE NEW SIGNS |
"These new signs will be installed as soon as the paint dries", Straessle stated.
"We got word from Governor Hutchinson that he was concerned that people traveling through the state might stop off in Little Rock to get gas or something to eat and get shot and killed", he added. "The Attorney General suggested we add some sort of disclaimer that might help if a lawsuit was filed."
We asked the city of Little Rock for a comment about the signage and their only response was this photo.
