TRUMP PLEASES THE CROWD BY DONNING A HOG HAT |
Presidential candidate Donald Trump was in Little Rock today for a campaign rally. The billionaire spared no expense by renting luxurious Barton Colusem from the Arkansas Livestock Show Association for a whopping $3,500.
Trump, who arrived to speak about two hours later than scheduled due to an unplanned stop at the Clinton Presidential Library, made the usual remarks about how he was the only candidate that could "make America great again" and that if elected, he "would have a wall built around the entire continental United States within the first 100 days of his presidency". Trump stated the wall would prevent Mexican rapists and Muslim terrorists from entering the US. Trump said, "We have to be more viligant. We have to be much tougher. We have to be much smarter, or it's never going to end, Go Hogs!" The crowd erupted in thunderous applause and answered by chanting "woo pig sooie."
There had been speculation that Mike Huckabee would make an appearance at the rally after "suspending" his second failed presidential bid and he was endorsing Trump. However, Trump shocked and startled the crowd when he announced that he had purchased Huckabee's North Little Rock home, "for pennies on the dollar" and that it would be converted into a shelter for homeless veterans.
Huckabee purchased the home in 2006 for $525,000 and first listed it for $850,000 in 2013. The price was reduced to $674,900 in July 2015. The Huckabee's relocated to Florida when the former governor went to work for the Fox network as a commentator back in 2008. The Huckabee's made Florida their permanent residence in 2010 and they built a 3 million dollar mansion there in 2011.
The most surprising thing Trump did while in Little Rock was to make an unscheduled visit to the Clinton Presidential Library.
Bessie Mae Mucho, a docent at the Clinton Presidential Library, told us that Trump was in the library for quite a while and that he took a lot of photos in the Oval Office exhibit and while standing next to the Presidential Limousine that is on permanent display in the library. Why Trump was taking these photos was not made clear to Ms. Mucho. Ms. Mucho did say that Secret Service agents kept telling Trump that they needed to get him to the rally and Trump kept telling them you're fired.
We requested comments from Trump, Huckabee and the Clinton's, but did not receive any response.
